We are doing all sorts of summer things here with baking for the market, and welcoming new baby goats (there always seem to be new baby goats). Photos of both events soon, but this is a quick note about yarns.
I just listed a ton of RTS (Ready-to-Ship) yarns in the shop!!
I’m making these little swatches of my base dyes, and the easiest (and most fun) way to do this is to dye 4 skeins along with the swatch. This batch was my cool colors, so there are skeins in the shop for purples (sport weight), blues, and greens (both on Targhee Fingering and Merino/Nylon).
I wasn’t planning to ever repeat these, but I am quite enamored with them (the green especially), so if they sell out and you’re interested in preordering any of them, please send me an email and we can work it out. It will just require a bit of patience because it might take a little longer than our typical 2-3 week turnaround.
I also added a few skeins of Rescuing Lola, and last year’s summer club colorways of Goodnight Farm, and Dragonflies.
Finally, we continue to test a process for dyeing gradients. These are on DK weight (pink/green) and Sport (purple/blue). Both are 100% SW Merino, grown and processed in the US. They are 100g skeins and would be great for an accessory like a cowl or hat.
We’re going to test more gradients throughout the summer. If you are interested in something in particular, send me a note. We’ll dye it up and offer it to you before listing it in the shop (no obligation to buy!)
Yarn and batt club members! Remember you can get free combined shipping on anything in the shop. Use coupon code SHIPWITHCLUB and your order will be shipped with your next club installment.
Thank you so much! I hope your summers are going well. Don’t let me forget about those baby goat photos! Peaches had two strong and sturdy (but not-yet-named) little girls. The Mostly Solid one started hopping six hours after she was born. The Spotted one needed a little help finding the milk dispenser, but is a champion at nursing now.
Happy Knitting!!
