Battvent Preorders are Live!

Hello! Just a quick note to let you know that our annual Battvent packages are available for preorder now! Battvent is 24 mini batts for your daily December spinning. Our theme this year is Snowed in at Sugar Plum Cabin: A Sappy Christmas Movie Battvent.

The 24 different mini batts will be in a range of deep purples with highlights of teal, burgundy, and gold. Each one is a fun little fluff of wool - some with sparkle and silk.

We were inspired by lush decorations of a small cabin, and all the trimmings of a cozy holiday movie. Bill is writing a 24 part story, with all the movie tropes, which will be emailed to Battvent spinners daily. I tried to get him to name the romantic female lead Virginia Snap (called Ginger by everyone in her hometown. Get it? Ginger Snap??), but I don’t think he’s going for it. I might insist that the love interest is a firefighter, though.

I do know that the setting is a small cabin where a handsome guy restores spinning wheels. I also know that Hallmark is releasing a new movie called Sugarplummed, so I think we’re on a good track!

Battvent is lots of fun and I really enjoy making and packing up luscious mini batts for your winter spinning. I know many of you like to take a few quiet moments at your wheels each December day, and I love being a part of that.
